I'm going to try to organize an introductory event in collaboration with the FabLab at the innovation centre. They have really expensive really cool machines, suhc as state of the art 3D printers & scanners, wooden & paper cutters and other stuff, most of which I personally have no idea about.

They also organize intro events! After those, you are allowed to use the machines, basically whenever you want.

Coincidentally, the manager of the FabLab is a really cool guy who offered to collaborate with us. So, if enough people would like to, maybe we can make this happen!

A while ago the idea of having a professor-student battle was floating around. This AK can be used to further refine this idea and sketch a first draft on how to do that!

A general brainstorming session on what we could improve on for our current events and draft HOW to implement these changes.

Is this AK we will have a brief overview on the past torch runs and how one could organise a torch run.
We are also happy to have a discussion with you what could be improved or what you would like to have during the next torch run.

There seems to be a lot of confusion on how dishwashers work. At least it seems like the majority of people do not know how to use one.

We host and operate quite a few digital services relevant to Students' Council work.
In this AK we'll go through them one by one and have a brief introduction on what their purpose is.

Not all meeting minutes are created equally. What are different types of protocols? What do meeting minutes want to achieve? All these questions will be answered, as well as some practical examples and possibility to experiment will be given.

In addition, we are going to tackle some operational questions: Where is the minutetaker website? What happens, if the pipeline breaks? How can I fix broken minutes?

If there is still time left, we will discuss some ideas on how to make the workload more manageable and how to improve the process.

Appointment Committees are the place where new Professors are hired. Students are mandatory to have a member, and also have voting rights. However, Appointment Committees (Hiring Committee, ger: Berufungskommission/BK) are confusing for students. Normally, we do not have a clue how the process works, what we should do at each specific point and how to have impact on the process.
Anton will introduce you to everything step-by-step and will bring you up to speed on all of above things.

The FIS is our money. Sometimes they buy stuff. How can I get them to buy something if I have a specific idea???

We should schwenk some Schwenkers on the Schwenker!

Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction game which is lots of fun to play!

An interactive workshop that will guide as many members as possible through the basics of hygiene.

Includes completing an online course that provides you with a somewhat official certificate that we can show around if anyone ever asks.

A lot of people do not know how to become a Schwenker to schwenk the Schwenkers on the Schwenker. A more experienced Schwenker shoudl take this opportunity to show prospective Schwenkers how to properly schwenk Schwenkers on a Schwenker!

A surprising – and at least in my opinion shocking – number of Council members apparently has not been taught how to return stuff from where they've taken it from once they are done using it. This AK aims to remedy this young adults' life worth of educational deficit via hands-on training sessions.

We have this social event called Stammtisch? How does it work? Why do we do it?
This AK includes a short introduction of the planning, setup, and implementation of the Stammtisch.

Everyone likes Coffee. We have a coffee machine. So far, so simple! But Coffee machines need maintenance. We will show you how to take care of it. And also drink lots of coffee.

Making sure that every member knows how to quietly close doors.

Overview of Mauzi and Sakamoto. How do people print? What happens if printing does not work?
The responsible person will show you how to refill paper, how to swap toners and all the other interesting printer things, especially how to lynch people if they tried to print US letter paper.

People can print their thesis with us. Generally our website is self-explanatory, but typically students are too dumb to read or worry a lot. Especially in the submission process not everything is quite clear as there are some additional documents necessary.
